  1. Regular exercise is very important to maintain blood sugar level, cholesterol level and to reduce body weight.
  2. Avoid sugar and sugary products , jaggery , honey.
  3. Avoid junk, processed, fatty and fried food items.
  4. Eat less refined carbohydrates products . e.g. White flour bread etc.
  5. Eat whole fruits instead of juices and salad in your diet on a regular basis.
  6. Consume High quality protein such as eggs, beans, low-fat dairy products.
  7. Roasted Chana, buttermilk ( without salt and sugar) , sprouts, dry nuts ,lemon juice ( without sugar ) can consume during snack time.
  8. Never skip your meals and stay hydrated.
  9. Include beans, avocados , Oats, barley, eggplant, okra, cluster  beans, celery , soya beans, fenugreek seeds, green  tea, Cinnamon in your diet to reduce cholesterol levels.
  10. Avoid Butter, ghee, cream, margarine, microwave  popcorn ,ice-creams ,fatty meats , shellfish , hamburger, muffins, French fries from your diet to reduce cholesterol level.
  11. Quit smoking and limit your alcohol intake.
