Hypertension is a common condition affecting several people across the world. Although high blood pressure also called a ”silent killer”– often has no symptoms. It can be dangerous by increasing the risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney problems.

According to American Heart Association, a  systolic reading of 180 mm Hg or a diastolic reading of 110  or higher is a sign of hypertensive crisis. There are certain symptoms which are associated with hypertension.

Symptoms:

5. Problem in breathing

Hypertension can progress through the years. Many symptoms present gradually after years of poorly blood pressure  control. Blood pressure control is a lifelong challenge. Blood pressure control  may involve a step wise approach beginning with low-fat and low sodium diet. Regular physical exercise is very important. Lifestyle Modification is very important.
